Grace Vanderpool Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Vanderpool of Sayre, Pennsylvania, born in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Graham and Ina Graham (Burlingame); her husband Howard Vanderpool; her son Jack Vanderpool; her grandsons, Jon Rowe and Michael Vanderpool; and her siblings, Jean Ringler, Ellen Schmidt and Mark Graham.
She is survived by: her children, April Curren (Bill) of Sayre, PA, Brian Vanderpool of Sayre, PA, Patty Vanderpool of Sayre, PA and Christy Vanderpool of Milan, PA; her grandchildren, Wendy Kane, Glen Harford, Scott Brewer, Diane Austin and Shawn Vanderpool, Sr.; her sister Linda Chilson (Bill) of Highland, NY; and her sisters-in-law, Connie Campbell of Sayre, PA and Imogene Evans of Athens, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in Grace's memory to Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA 18810 to help offset the funeral expenses.
