We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 97, Leonard Pientka of Sayre, Pennsylvania, born in Dickson City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Leonard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leonard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church of Epiphany (304 S Elmer Ave, Sayre, PA 18840). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in Leonard's memory are asked to consider Epiphany School, 627 Stevenson St., Sayre, Pa. 18840 or the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) at vfw.org.
