She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert L. Diehl and Edna M. Diehl (Cornell); her former life partner James B. Clark; and her siblings, Charles, Ethel and Kathleen.

She is survived by : her husband Robert E. Laird; and her brother Harry D. Diehl (Everett). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
