George S. Evans III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George S. Evans III of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Evans Jr. and Mary Evans (Lee); his wife Mona F. Evans (Hinson); and his sisters, Alice Miller, Mary Lee Beacham and Patty Boore.
He is survived by: his children, Linda (Lew Schwartz) of Baltimore, MD, Geary (Laurie), George (Terri), Kevin (Paula) and Todd (Lisa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
