With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Hansen of Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Janet farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janet is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Fischl and Ida Fischl (Muick); her husband William "Bill" Hansen; and her sister Ella I. Reinert (Fischl). She is survived by: her children, Glenn S. Hansen (Deborah) of Iowa, Cheryl L. Bastian of Schnecksville, Gail Maureen Hansen of Washington, D. C. and Eric A. Hansen (Alicia) of Florida. She is also survived by her four children and delighted in her 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
