He was predeceased by: his wife Marie L. Hardner (Zwetolitz); his parents, Florian Hardner and Isabella Hardner (Kolowitz); and his brothers, Florian and John Hardner.
He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Hardner, Jr. (Janet) of Perkasie, Michael J. Hardner (Lydia) of Stanfordville, NY and Jane M. Frantz (Maynard) of Kunkletown; his sisters, Joan Oplinger of Allentown and Barbara Heinz of Bethlehem; and his close friend Barbara Kisly of Slatington. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. (4906 PA-309, Schnecksville, PA 18078). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
