He is survived by: his daughters, Andraia Detweiler and Jessica Valosin (Christopher); his grandchildren, Danielle Guldin, Alexandra Detweiler Sands and Lucian Valosin; his great grandchildren, Logan, Lincoln Guldin and Leighton Sands; and his wife Helena Hughes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their families; and friends.
He was very proud to donate blood regularly.
