He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecka Brown (Seidel) and James Brown; his stepfather Thomas Houck; his son Brett Brown; and his siblings, Mary Moyer, Lois Dresen, Kathryn Burton, Joan Miller, Barry Brown, Wally Brown and Richard Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Georgine "Jeanie" Brown (Gerhart). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins and great nieces and nephews.
