Knauf, Donna (Geoffrey Sausser), Audra (Michael Grabowski), Melinda Koch and Melissa (Bob Sheipe); and his grandchildren, Rebecca, William, Kaitlyn, Alec, Emily, Abigail, Erika, Jacob, Noah and Savannah.

“Dear Ms. Linda Knauf and family, Please accept my condolences for your loss. I didn't know William well, but he was gracious enough to take several of my calls in regard to my genealogy research on the Derricott family. William's uncle, Dick Derricott was my (step) grandfather, a wonderful man in his own right. William told me how his Uncle Dick would take him and his brothers to visit their mother during the period when they still lived in the orphanage. Jeff Ogorzalek”
