She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Earl and Beatrice Alberta Souders Bookheimer; and her siblings, Merrill Bookheimer, Lawrence "Lank" Bookheimer, Elva Bookheimer Davis, Jack Bookheimer, Charles "Ron" Bookheimer, Clyde Bookheimer, Rae Bookheimer Mellott and Larry Bookheimer.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Peters of Scotland; her children, Maria Lange (Michael) of Sharon Springs, NY and Michael Peters (Katie) of Shippensburg; her grandchildren, Erich T. Lange (Alexis Klein) of Washington, DC and Emily A. DeLorenzo (John) of Greenwich, NY; her great grandchild Lilliana DeLorenzo; her stepgrandchildren, Erik, Tobin and Treslyn Staggs; and her siblings, Robert Bookheimer and Dean Bookheimer (Caroline). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Luke Lutheran Church (2695 Luther Dr, Chambersburg, PA 17202).
