He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bernadette Louise Holzer; his children, Robert David of Springfield, VA, Kimberly Ann of Seattle, WA and David Lindsay (Scott); his parents, Edward P. Holzer and Claire Rose Hawthorne; his grandchildren, Lindsay Van Wie, Emma Holzer, Daniel Larsen, Nathaniel Holzer and Katrina Holzer; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Kate and Joe Van Wie. He was also cherished by extended family, grandkids, and many other friends.
