He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Swift and Mary Corbett Swift; and his siblings, Catherine Morrell, Ann Marie Swift, Martin Michael Swift, Sr. and Patrick Joseph Swift.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Swift (Sandra), Mary Ellen MacMillan (Robert) and Nancy Swift; his caregiver John F. Swift, Jr.; his grandchildren, Erin, Kathryn MacMillan, Melinda Harhut (James) and Patrick J. Swift (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Gregory MacMillan, Aaron, Ryan Harhut, Patrick, Jacob and Elliott Swift. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
