He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marjorie Forrest (Herald); his daughters, Sarah Eckert (Richard) and Melanie Rowanne Stephenson (William); his grandchildren, Richard, Macey Eckert, Elizabeth, Eowyn, Emily, Eleanor, Estelle, Evangelynn and Edith Stephenson; and his sister Susan Rowe (Howard).
