She is survived by: her husband Morris Cherkas; her daughter Colleen Deemer VanHeusen (Eric); her grandchildren, Brandon (James Fox), Maura and Alex (Briar); her great grandchild Rowan Deemer; her sister Joanne Charles (Nanny Ann); her sister-in-law Joann Cherkas; and her sister Janice Cordier. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
