He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline De Sando; and his parents, Carlo DeSando and Saveria DeSando (Laratta). He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Cele) and Carl "C. C." DeSando (Kimmie); his grandchildren, Nicole Bistarkey (Rory) and Justin DeSando; and his great grandchildren, Brody, Bennett and Baylor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Church (1000 Tropical Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216).
