She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kusserow and Laura Jean Kusserow (Guffey); her child Carsten Stigers; her sister Dorothy Tarbert (Dick); and her friend Marian Burnette (Cain).

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Gaimari (Pal) and Kimberly Shaffer; her grandchildren, Katie Gaimari and Jason Stigers (Katherine); her great grandchild Theo Stigers; and her brother Rev. Ralph Kusserow (late Carol). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
