The family announces the passing of Bette Sefcheck (Scottdale, Pennsylvania) on September 23, 2026. Bette, born on January 22, 1947, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, JD Pegg and Ruth Barnhart Pegg. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Sefcheck (Michelle) of South Park, Jeffery Sefcheck (Julia) of Scottdale and Matthew Sefcheck (Heather) of Uniontown; her grandchildren, Ryder, Ashby, Ava, Sophia and Brady; and her siblings, Jack Pegg of Ohio, Ruth Stansick (Donald) of New Salem and Rebecca Dicosimo of Uniontown. She is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. (417 Pittsburgh St, Scottdale, PA 15683). A prayer will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
