We announce the death of Geraldine A. Kendi of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 88. Geraldine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stranko and Mary Stranko (Yandrick); her husband Charles R. Kendi; and her brothers, Gene Stranko and Richard Stranko (Kay).
She is survived by: her children, Charles L. Kendi of Pittsburgh and Lisa A. Kendi of Scottdale; her sister Kathy Spoerer (Jim) of Dallas, TX; and her sister-in-law Theresa Stranko of Latrobe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Regional Family YMCA or St. John Parish.
