He is survived by: his children, Jay Scott Matthews, Sr. (Michele) and Jaylee Mathews (Derek); his son-in-law Michael "Bucky" Lattanzo; his grandchildren, Joshua Matthews (Amanda), Christina Lattanzo-Lint (Nick), Lewis Lattanzo (Shawna), Jessica Welsh (Justin), Jay Matthews, Jr. (Chandler), Justine Ghai, Blake Mathews, Jordan Mathews and Lainey June Mathews; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Cora, Brooks Welsh and Layken Lattanzo.
