He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Raymond and Dorothea Alice Gottshall (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Judith L. "Judy" Gottshall (Rudisill); his daughter Erika Barber (Daniel) of Des Moines, Iowa; his granddaughter Clare Barber; and his brother Edward Gottshall of Altoona.
Memorials may be made to the Fayette Friends of Animals or Saint Bartholomew Episcopal Church.
