He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Toman and Anna Toman (Sholtis); his sons, Jamie Toman and John Toman (Eli); and his brother Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Toman (Lewandowski); his children, JoAnn Toman, Jody Toman and Julie Felton (Derek); his stepchildren, Dave Smouse (Kristina) and Melissa Wendell (Dave); his grandchildren, Tyler, Desiree, Elizabeth, Wesley, Jacob, Christopher and Jamie; and his siblings, Audrey Soltis (Gerald) and Beverly Karp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
