Joann Guesman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joann Guesman of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann Guesman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Schrecengost and Thomas E Schrecengost; her husband Harold R Guesman (Bud); and her brother Tom Schrecengost. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Guesman of Farmington Hills, MI and Kelli Wagner (Joe) of Boston, MA; her grandchildren, Loren Perlberg (James), Kasey Wagner (Alex), Brian Evola (Jessica), Shelby Wagner (Ross) and Melanie Wagner (David); her great grandchildren, Wesley, Brielle, Cameron and Nico; and her sister Sandra McDowell (Schrecengost). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frank Kapr Funeral Home (417 Pittsburgh St, Scottdale, PA 15683). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Perkins School for the Blind (Attention – Development) 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472 (http://www.perkins.org) which provided Joann books on tape, bringing her great joy in her later years after losing her eyesight.
