With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark F. Hixson of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hixson and Anna Mae Hixson (Herrington); his close friends, Joe Davis and Glenn; his brother Earl F. Hixson, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Jack Helsley and Lois Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon D. Hixson (Helsley); his daughters, Ashley Vidale (Paul) and Malinda "Mindi" Pfoutz; his grandchildren, Zoey Nutter, Francesca Vidale, Vivian Vidale and Brody Nutter; his siblings, Sue Booher (Dennis), Bryan Hixson (Hope), Todd Hixson (Lyn) and Emily Fantuzzo (Christopher); his brother-in-law Edward Helsley; Ember. He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews he loved.
