It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Firestone of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Elroy Hill and Evelyn Mae Firestone (Lape); his wife Edna L. Firestone (Smith); and his siblings, Joyce Mills and James Firestone.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa Derbaum (Dennis) of Chesapeake, Nancy Stepinsky of Scottdale, Wendy Van Dyke (Howard) of Tarrs, Robert A. Firestone Jr. of Scottdale and Karen Firestone (Mike Hoza) of Youngwood; his stepson Kenneth Shea of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandchildren, John, Madison, Ashlyn, Cody, Howard and Matthew.
