He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leroy and Ethel Mae Davis Hunker; his grandsons, Brady Lee Walter, Brendan and Walter; and his brothers, Donald Hunker and Richard Hunker.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Schroyer Hunker; his children, Dean A. Hunker (Ranae), Dennis W. Hunker (Tabitha), Douglas G. Hunker (Kim) and Debra L. Walter (Howard "Howie); his grandchildren, Jeremy Hunker, Danielle, Douglas Hunker, Erin, Rachael, James Marker, Cody Hunker, Courtney, Devan Walter, Brooke, Derek Walter, Kati, Zane Hunker, Audrey Gee, Daniel, Ty Hunker, Carissa, Cameron Walter, Caitlin and Chloe Hunker; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Aliyah, Thalia, Thea, Elouise, Logan, Leena, Jayce and Iris.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. (417 Pittsburgh St, Scottdale, PA 15683). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 5:15 PM at the Funeral Home October.
