With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Hughes in Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Hughes; her parents, Phillip Krenitsky and Theresa Krenitsky (Kopestonsky); and her son Alan Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Hughes and Lori Brenkosh (Pete) of Covington Twp; her grandchildren, Chelsea Vinson (James), Michael and Steven Brenkosh; her great grandchildren, Adonis and Ivy Vinson; and her siblings, Mildred Heller, Margie Struzzerri and Phillip Krenitsky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Spring Brook Congregational Church, 209 Beech Road, Spring Brook Twp.
