Ann Marie Heffron Obituary
Ann Marie Heffron, 81, a resident of Allied Skilled Nursing Facility and formerly of Dickson City, died Saturday morning at Commonwealth Hospice at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Thomas and Valeria Wietrzykowski Heffron, she was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School, class of 1952, and was a homemaker. Ann Marie was a member of Eagle Hose Company 1 Ladies Auxiliary for more than 50 years and she volunteered for more than 30 years at St. Mary's School Cafeteria.
Ann Marie's family would like to thank the ICU staff at Regional Hospital of Scranton and Allied Skilled Nursing Facility, especially Cathy, for their kind and considerate care.
Surviving are a brother, Thomas Heffron, Dickson City, and several cousins.
There will be no public calling hours. A memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.
