With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel F. Smith (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Frank Smith; and his brother-in-law Thomas Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Flaherty Smith; his sister Valerie Johnson; his nephew Thomas Johnson; his niece Vanessa Kurilla (Robert); and his great-nephews, TJ Johnson and David Ragan.
Dan's family kindly requests no flowers be sent, but instead make memorial contributions in his memory to DAV (Disabled American Veterans), 30 Lawrence Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553 (dav.org). Donations are being accepted in memory of Daniel.
