It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Booth Sr. of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol A. Datti; his parents, John, Sr. Booth and Irene Jones Booth; and his siblings, Irene Reese, Patricia Lennon, John, Jr., Robert and Owen.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Monahan (John), Barbra Kelly (Daniel), Daniel, Jr. (Joanne) and Robert (Jenna); his grandchildren, Margaret Solis (Tony), Zachary Booth (Matilde), Nicholas Booth (Hayley), Kyle Booth (Alycia), Danny Kelly, Jianna and Cayden Booth; his great grandchildren, Maevia Solis, Nicholas Booth, Jr., Emma Lynn Booth, Rocco Solis and Kylen Booth; and his sisters, Leona Weisman and Gail Czajkowski (Bill). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
