Daniel P. Scanlon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel P. Scanlon of Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Daniel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Daniel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Patrick; and his pet Kodi. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy; and his sister Barbara La Plume (Paul Shirra). He is also survived by aunt, uncle and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (316 William St, Scranton, PA 18508). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
