It is with sadness that the passing of Donna DePoley of Scranton, Pennsylvania is shared. Donna passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Donna will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Donna by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Donna is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Donna’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph DePoley. She is survived by: her mother Christine Chorba DePoley; her close friend John Evans; her siblings, John, Richard and Joanne; her niece Sarah; and her nephew Evan. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc. (1401 Capouse Ave, Scranton, PA 18509). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
