It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward F. O'Malley of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Edward O'Malley (Cy); his sister Patricia Glenn (John); his parents-in-law, Leo and Florence Jacoby; and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Jacoby.

He is survived by: his sons, Matthew, Edward (Elizabeth) and Christopher (Lauren); his grandchildren, Calista, Krislynn, Ryleigh, Molly, Edward and Alee O'Malley; his great grandchild Aniyah Datilus; his siblings, Kathleen O'Malley, Susan Newhart (Ernie), Nancy Palmer, Joan O'Malley (Dave Kizer) and Bernard O'Malley (Mary Jane); and his siblings-in-law, Martin Jacoby (Margaret) and Michele Jordan (Arthur Jordan, Jr.). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St. Dunmore, PA 18510.
