With sadness, we share the passing of Elizabeth Oliver Strong of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Oliver and Margaret Chase Oliver; her siblings, Joan Oliver Tiernan and James Oliver (Chuck); her nephew Stephen Lane Jr.; her niece Katie Badick; and her cousin Mary Ellen Brocavich.

She is survived by: her children, Kristin Lindsay (Ben) of Hummelstown, PA, Lauren Smith (Dan) of Odessa, FL and John Strong (Kristen) of Clarks Summit, PA; her grandchildren, Grace, Owen Lindsay, Preston, Connor, Charlotte Smith, Patrick and Garrett Strong; and her siblings, Patricia Lane (Stephen) of Fort Myers, FL, Marylou Badick (Robert), Margaret Harrison (Peggy) of Kennesaw, GA, Nancy Conlon (Greg) of Ardmore, PA., Christine Shean (Timothy) and Francis Oliver Jr. (Mary) of Greenwood, IN.. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donahue Funeral Home (303 S Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18504). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
