He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barkasy and Margaret Barkasy (Lesso); his siblings, Sandra Barkasy, Elizabeth Toms, William and Richard; and his brother-in-law William Toms.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Hanni (Joseph) of Dunmore and Danielle Gowarty (Edward); his grandchildren, Sam, Louis Hanni, Rita, Sophia and Edward Gowarty; and his brother George (Patricia Barkasy) of Moosic.
