It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Golembeski (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his son John; and his parents, Stella Golembeski and Joseph Golembeski. He is survived by: his close friend Carolyn McLain; his daughters, Barbara Bisignani (Gary), Francine Golembeski and Maria Mazzone (Frank); his grandchildren, Jami (Matt), Michelle (Brant), John (Liz), Nina (Jim) and Nick (Jeanette); and his great grandchildren, Wilkie, Bailee, Kennedy, Brynlee, Jude and Lillian.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Frank's honor to Camp Freedom, which provides outdoor healing adventures for disabled Veterans, First Responders, their family members, Gold Star Families, and Gold Shield Families.
