He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Castagnaro and Rosaria Castagnaro; his siblings, John, Casper, Michael, Rose Naughton, Mary Budney, Spinarda Yanni and Claire Puzzo; and his daughter Jamie.

He is survived by: his children, Roseann, Mary Ann Doyle, Dr. Frank Castanaro Yonkers (Antonella) and John Castanaro; his grandchildren, Breana Doyle, Dr. John Castanaro, Dr. Nicole Panarelli, Valeria Gallotta, Samuel Castanaro, Michael Castanaro and Sarah Parker; his great grandchildren, Liam, Eierann Doyle, Charles Castanaro, Joseph, Nora Panarelli, James, Madeline Gallotta and Gabriel Castanaro; and his godson James Marinucci. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Due to the ongoing pandemic private funeral service and entombment at the Cathedral Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
