He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Lance and Catherine Lance Sr.; his wife Yvonne; his children, Fred (Rose) and Laurie Jakes (Mark); his daughter-in-law Jean; his grandchildren, Katie, Sean, Stephanie, Victoria and Tyler; and his son Robert. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Jackson Street Baptist Church (1206 Jackson St, Scranton, PA 18504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
