She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund; her son Alan; her parents, John P. Gilroy and Florence Dux Gilroy; and her siblings, Dorothy Marie Lenhart, Mary Elizabeth Riley and John P. Gilroy.
She is survived by: her children, David Yearing, Carol Snyder (Walt), Paul Yearing (Loretta), Michele Schoen (Terry) and Edmund Yearing (Donna). She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home (318 E Drinker St, Dunmore, PA 18512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (1510 Penn Ave, Scranton, PA 18509). A burial was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Cathedral Cemetery (1708 Oram St, Scranton, PA 18504).
