With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Joseph Casper Jr. (Scranton, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Casper and Agnes Gaylets Casper. He is survived by: his sisters, Cath Swantkowski (Henry) of Dupont and Betty Mertis of Plymouth; his siblings' children, Jake Swantkowski (Chan Hee) of Burke, VA and Ami Rusling (Jeff) of Philadelphia; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyra, Jackson, Jacob and Casey.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be directed to Wounded Warriors, 1013 Mumma Rd., Suite 203, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
