James leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew James will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Norman and Sandra Myles Duff; and his son Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Philbin Duff; his sons, Jonathan, Michael Bibalo, Matthew and Thomas Duff; and his grandchildren, Maddox Duff, Octavius, Isaiah Duff, Mackenzie Bibalo and Lucas Duff.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home (1240 St Ann St, Scranton, PA 18504).
