He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Minicozzi and Mary Bonfiglio Minicozzi; and his son Cpt. James R. Minicozzi. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Madonna Polishan Minicozzi; his daughters, Theresa Mary Sweeney (Chuck Petrovich) and Leslie Ann Galacci (Donald); his grandchildren, Zachary M. Jacobson, Saige, Jake, Jaden Sweeney and Wesley James Minicozzi; his sisters, Susan Bean (Buddy) and Mary Lou Sopinski (Paul); his parents-in-law, Frank and Josephine Lorsong Polishan; and his siblings, Naomi Giello, Joann Buchalski and Rocco Minicozzi. He is also survived by his family; esp. the love of his life, his best friend.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Savino Traditional Funerals and Cremation Care (157 S Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18504). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Monastery Basilica Parish (1250 St Ann St, Scranton, PA 18504). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Cathedral Cemetery (1708 Oram St, Scranton, PA 18504).
