He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McDonough and Gloria Joyce McDonough; his father-in-law Donald Wales; and his brothers, Joseph and Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen "Connie" Wales McDonough; his children, Matthew McDonough of Scranton, PA, Maggie McDonough Baker (Derrick) of Elmira, NY and Molly McDonough Loughney (Matthew) of Scranton, PA; his grandchildren, Max, Rex, Gwendolyn and Madeline; his mother-in-law Janet Wales of Tioga, PA; his siblings, Joyce of Scranton, PA, James B. (Mary Ellen) of Scranton, PA, Christopher (Laurie) of Springfield, NJ and Gerard of Scranton, PA.; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Krammes (Ray) of Tioga, PA, Sandra Mundro (John) of Saylorsburg, PA, Donald Wales (Karen) of Millerton, PA, Timothy Wales (Lynette) of Millerton, PA and Pamela Draper (Russell) of Millerton, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
