With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Daffaro (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 1, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Arline A. Scannella; his parents, Luigi Daffaro and Santa Cappelletti Daffaro; his sister Dolores Ligi; and his nephew Arnie Ligi.
He is survived by: his children, James Daffaro (Annmarie) and Dianne Martinelli (Michael); his grandchildren, Michael Martinelli (Diana), Mario Martinelli (Brianna) and Ashley Mitchell (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Julianna, Michael, Crew and Reese Martinelli; his brother-in-law Arnold Ligi (Francesca); and his nephew Allan Ligi (Maria).
