Joseph J. Granville Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2025, Joseph J. Granville (Scranton, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Joseph farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joseph is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare (Nemetz) and Clarence; and his brother David. He is survived by: his daughter Elysia (Allen Zitzelman); his stepgrandson Dennis; his siblings, Michael (Mary Ellen), Stephen and Julia (Fred Miller); and his nephew James (Emily Miller). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
