He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lentes and Elinore Capwell Lentes; his wife Janet Ulrich Lentes; and his siblings, Betty (Sam), Arlene (Paul), Lorraine, Mary and Donald (Lois).

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Lottermoser (Darrell) of Roanoke, VA. and Debra Jurnak of Old Forge, PA.; his grandchildren, Abigayle and George; his sister-in-law Eileen Walsh; his nephews, Sammy, David and Tom Sica; and his close friend Betsy Budris. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, and nieces.
