We announce the death of Kathleen A. Kellett (Scranton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 71. Kathleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Kathleen will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Kathleen will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Kathleen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Kellett and Jean L Kellett. She is survived by: her aunt Patricia A Dee; and her pet Pumpkin. She is also survived by many cousins and 2nd cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Parish (1217 Prospect Ave, Scranton, PA 18505). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Allied Services Hospice, 100 Abington Executive Park, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
