With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luree Waltz (Scranton, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Capple and Ruth Wolff Capple; her husband Edwin R. Waltz; her sister-in-law Sharon Waltz Garvey; Walter and Ruth Wolff Capple.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Lynne Rudat (Ken) and Ruth Audrey Whitehouse; her siblings-in-law, Debra Yeager (Robert) and David Waltz (Margrit); her grandchildren, Rebecca LaRue (Todd), Ashley Whitehouse, Teresa Whitehouse and Edwin Diehl; her great grandchild Audrey LaRue; and her friend May.
