Mary Alberta leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary Alberta’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mary Alberta will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Mary; her children, Virginia Noto (Michael), Charles Farrell, Eleanor Farrell and Andrew "Jaime" Hailstone (Jenn); her grandchildren, Liam Hailstone and Seamus Hailstone; and her children, Sara Hailstone (Sean Boyle) and Daniel Hailstone (Sandra).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mary Church (800 Taylor Ave, Scranton, PA 18510).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that you consider a contribution to Hospice of the Sacred Heart so others may die with dignity or to United Neighborhood Centers so others may live with dignity.
