With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nina Silverman of Scranton, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nina Silverman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Irving Silverman; her parents, Asher Teplitzky and Sophie Slobudnik Teplitzky; and her brothers, Samuel, Moses and William Teplitzky.

She is survived by: her children, Renée Schoenberg (Elliot) and Alan Silverman (Anne); her grandchildren, Scott Schoenberg (Lori) of Clarks Summit, Jason Schoenberg (Jan) of Clarks Summit, Erica Gallagher of Clarks Summit, Steven Silverman (Lex Cicola) of Philadelphia and Leah Silverman of Philadelphia; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Bridget Gallagher, Jenna, Jillian, Juliet, Ryan and Jordan Schoenberg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
