He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cavanaugh Shafer; his daughters, Patricia, Jennifer, Jessica and Tammy; his grandchildren, Katelynn, James, Nathan, Devin and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Larry, Eleanor, Alivia and Hailey; and his siblings, Wyatt, Eathan, David, Michael, Christine, Marty and Juanita.
